Iheanacho helps Celtic win Scottish Premiership title
Kelechi Iheanacho helped Celtic clinch the 2025/26 Scottish Premiership title with a 3-1 win over Hearts on the final day at Celtic Park.
Hearts led 1-0 at halftime, but Celtic fought back with goals from Arne Engels, Daizen Maeda, and Callum Osmand. Iheanacho came on at halftime and played a key role in Celtic’s second-half comeback.
The striker was also decisive midweek, scoring a 100th-minute penalty against Motherwell to keep Celtic’s title hopes alive.
The win gave Celtic 82 points, two ahead of Hearts, securing their 56th league title and fifth in a row.
