The ban likely targets mixed-gender gatherings and private conversations in public spaces, including vehicles, to curb perceived impropriety.

The Alumni of Amuwo Odofin Community Secondary School (AOCSS) Class of 2002 set, recently held their highly anticipated get-together on December 21st, 2025, at Mile 2 Estate, Lagos State.  The event brought together old friends, classmates, and colleagues who shared laughter, stories, and memories of their time in secondary school.   Abuja based  Canadian and American based. The reunion was a grand affair, with members from various parts of Lagos and even comrades in Canada,United states(USA) and Abuja joining in to relive old times. It was a day filled with nostalgia, joy, and a renewed sense of camaraderie. Events like these remind us of the importance of staying connected with our roots and the people who shaped our early years.  Kudos to the organizing committee for making this happen!  More photos below;

Emmiwuks, whose real name is Emmanuel Myam, is a 25-year-old Nigerian cyclist embarking on an extraordinary journey from Lagos, Nigeria to the United States of America. He's traveling over 8,573 kilometers on his bicycle to raise awareness and support for orphaned and displaced children affected by conflicts across Africa. Emmiwuks began his journey on July 1, 2025, cycling through West Africa, including Benin Republic, Togo, Ghana, CΓ΄te d'Ivoire, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Guinea Conakry, Guinea-Bissau, Senegal, and The Gambia. Bandit Leader Turji Confirms Zamfara Peace Talks, Denies ₦30 Million Payment"

Bello Turji, a notorious bandit leader, has confirmed participating in peace talks with the Zamfara State Government during former Governor Bello Muhammad Matawalle's administration. However, he denied receiving ₦30 million or any material inducement as part of the process, dismissing allegations by former peace mediator Musa Kamarawa. Turji claimed the meetings aimed to reduce violence and restore peace in the state. He accused former governors Ahmed Sani Yerima of Zamfara and Attahiru Bafarawa of Sokoto of arming vigilante groups that targeted Fulani communities, exacerbating violence. He called for their investigation and arrest. Turji emphasized that he and his group are not politicians or tools of politicians, with no human backing. Despite his claims, Nigerian security agencies still regard Turji as one of the most dangerous armed group leaders in the North-West.
