"Senegal to Parade AFCON Trophy Despite CAF Stripping Title Over 'Administrative Robbery' Claim.

Senegal plans to parade the AFCON trophy today despite being stripped of the title by the Confederation of African Football (CAF). The Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) president, Abdoulaye Fall, described the decision as "administrative robbery" and vowed to fight the ruling. Senegal had won the AFCON final against Morocco 1-0, but CAF overturned the result, citing Senegal's walk-off protest against a late penalty award.

The FSF has appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), arguing that the decision was "unprecedented and unacceptable". If CAS rules in Senegal's favor, the original result could be reinstated, restoring their title.
