Former Super Eagles midfielder Henry Nwosu has passed away at 62 😔. 

The Imo State-born football legend died at Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja, after five days in intensive care. 

Nwosu played a key role in Nigeria's 1980 Africa Cup of Nations win and was known for his vision and creativity on the pitch.


His former teammate Segun Odegbami shared the news, remembering Nwosu as the "Youngest Millionaire".

 The football community mourns the loss of another icon, following the death of coach Adegboye Onigbinde on March 9 .
