Cristiano Ronaldo Buys Stake in Spanish Club Almeria

Cristiano Ronaldo has made a major move in the football world, acquiring a 25% stake in Spanish second-tier club Almeria through his company CR7 Sports Investments.

This investment marks a significant step in Ronaldo's post-playing career, as he aims to contribute to football beyond the pitch. Almeria, currently third in the Spanish second division, has been under Saudi ownership since 2025, led by president Mohamed Al Khereiji.

Ronaldo, who spent nine successful years at Real Madrid, expressed his excitement about joining Almeria, stating, "UD Almeria is a Spanish club with strong foundations and clear potential for growth. I look forward to working alongside the leadership team to support the club's next phase of growth".
