APC National Secretary Accuses Wike of Causing Confusion in Rivers State.

The National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Ajibola Basiru, is calling for the resignation of FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, citing his alleged interference in the party's internal affairs. Basiru claims Wike, a non-APC member, is causing confusion within the party and leveraging his ministerial position to do so. "The honourable thing to do is to resign his appointment as Minister," Basiru stated. 

Wike has been warned to steer clear of Rivers State politics, with Basiru accusing him of trying to destabilize the party in the state. The feud stems from Wike's support for President Bola Tinubu, which Basiru says doesn't automatically make him an APC member. Wike has hit back, labeling Rivers a "no-go area" for political interference.
