MOHBAD'S BURIAL ON HOLD PENDING DNA TEST RESULTS .

Mohbad's father, Joseph Aloba, has announced that the late singer will be buried immediately after a DNA test is conducted to determine the paternity of his son, Liam. The DNA test is a prerequisite for the burial, and Joseph Aloba emphasized that it's the most important thing delaying the burial. He stated, "Today is the DNA court case, my lawyer is here, and I am telling the whole world that this is the most important thing and this is what has been delaying the burial of Mohbad. After the DNA is done, we will immediately move on to the burial.

The dispute over Liam's paternity has been ongoing between Joseph Aloba and Mohbad's wife, Wunmi, with both parties seeking legal clarity on the matter. Wunmi has taken steps to prevent unauthorized attempts to claim Mohbad's estate, and her legal team has filed documents asserting her rights as the legal wife and mother of the deceased's child. 

The burial announcement comes nearly 14 months after Mohbad's death on September 12, 2023, which sparked widespread controversy and calls for justice. The family is eager to lay their loved one to rest, but the DNA test is a necessary step in resolving the paternity dispute.
