Nigerian footballers stole the show in Europe's latest matches. Samuel Chukwueze delivered a man-of-the-match performance for Fulham in their 2-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur. Ademola Lookman scored a goal in Atalanta's 2-0 win over Fiorentina. Paul Onuachu bagged a brace for Trabzonspor in their 3-1 comeback win over Konyaspor.

Other Nigerian players had notable performances as well. Semi Ajayi scored the first goal for Hull City in their 2-1 comeback win against Stoke City. Maduka Okoye kept a clean sheet for Udinese as they beat Parma 2-0. Moses Simon played the entire match for Paris FC in their 1-1 draw against Auxerre. Victor Boniface played 71 minutes for Werder Bremen in their 1-1 draw against Cologne.
