BREAKING:Deputy governor of Bayelsa collapsed and rushed to medical centre.

Bayelsa State Deputy Governor, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, collapsed in his office and was rushed to the Federal Medical Centre in Yenagoa. The incident occurred around 1:30 pm, and he was taken to the hospital's emergency unit in a serious condition. He has since been stabilized and moved to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for further treatment.

The exact cause of the medical emergency is yet to be officially disclosed, but sources suggest it may be linked to a cardiac-related issue, possibly exacerbated by the deputy governor's demanding schedule. Security operatives have cordoned off the hospital, restricting access as top government officials visit to express concern.

The incident has sparked widespread concern across Bayelsa State, with many praying for the deputy governor's swift recovery. A source close to him attributed the health scare to his workaholic nature, saying he’s a workaholic and should find time to rest.
