New Abduction: ISWAP Kidnaps 13 Girls in Borno.

ISWAP militants have abducted 13 female teenagers, aged 15-20, from Mussa district in Askira-Uba Local Government Area of Borno State. The girls were taken while harvesting crops on their farmland. One of the victims managed to escape and was reunited with her family, while the remaining 12 are still in captivity. The abductees were among those relocated from Huyim to Mussa due to security concerns.

The abduction occurred on November 22, 2025, around 3:30 pm. The police and military have launched a rescue operation, with security agencies working together to track down the abductors. Senator Mohammed Ali Ndume, representing Borno South, has called on security agencies to intensify efforts to rescue the victims safely.
