Champions League Chaos: Barcelona Fan Bus Catches Fire Ahead of Match
Footage on social media appears to show Barcelona fans lighting flares on the bus before flames burst out of the stricken vehicle.
Fans can be seen making their way off the bus as smoke began to fill the inside of it.
Belgian outlet DeMorgen reports that all of the passengers were able to escape the fire without any significant injuries.
However, firefighters needed to drag 'several people' out of the bus.
Despite the fiery scenes, the Barcelona fans seemed to remain calm.
Belgian outlet HLN have reported that a man has been arrested by police in connection with the incident.
They have also claimed that fireworks caused the fire, although it's not known if they were done so intentionally.
Two firefighters are said to have been in the area when the fire broke out and assisted passengers.
The city's fire department were able to tackle the blaze, with other buses taking fans to the stadium for the match.
During the match, Barcelona put out a statement telling those fans who were affected by the blaze that a replacement service would not be provided for them after the match.
