BREAKING: Abuja-Kaduna Train Derails, Passengers Scamper for Safety*

Abuja, Nigeria - A passenger train traveling from Abuja to Kaduna has derailed, causing panic among commuters. The incident occurred at approximately 11:09 a.m. on Tuesday between Kubwa Station and Asham Station.

According to eyewitnesses, several carriages were overturned, and passengers scrambled to safety in confusion. Emergency rescue teams, medical personnel, and security operatives have been deployed to the site.

The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has confirmed the derailment and appealed for calm, urging passengers and the general public to remain patient as authorities work to ensure safety and restore normalcy.

The cause of the derailment is yet to be disclosed, and an investigation is likely to follow. Nearby hospitals have been placed on standby to attend to any affected passengers.
