Ronaldo Nazario has sold his stake in Real Valladolid to a North American investment group backed by a European fund for approximately €30 million.
Valladolid were relegated after finishing the season with just 16 points, half the total of second-to-last Las Palmas.
The Spanish side managed only 4 wins in 37 matches, leading to a disappointing season.
The former Brazil number 9 gave up his majority stake following Valladolid's disastrous season. The Brazilian acquired 51% of the club's shares in September 2018.
Real Valladolid will play their final league match on Saturday, away to Leganes.
