Lobi Stars fc have appointed former Super Eagles star Daniel Amokachi as their new head coach, replacing Eugene Agagbe,

Daniel Amokachi, the former star player of the Super Eagles, has taken on an exciting new role as the head coach of Lobi Stars FC. 

Known for his impressive playing career, including participation in the FIFA World Cup and notable stints with clubs like Club Brugge and Everton, Amokachi brings a wealth of experience to the coaching position. 

The Markurdi-based club, currently struggling in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), announced the decision following Agagbe’s failure to meet expectations in the 2024-2025 season.

Agagbe’s dismissal comes after a poor run of form, with Lobi Stars securing just one win and sitting 17th in the table.

His appointment is expected to rejuvenate Lobi Stars, aiming to enhance their performance in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) and potential continental competitions. Fans and players alike are hopeful that Amokachi's leadership will elevate the team's success in the upcoming season.
