How much money Cristiano Ronaldo is earning from YouTube as he hits 10 million subscribers in less than a day

Cristiano Ronaldo is now a YouTube star, with his new channel passing 10 million subscribers in less than day – earning him even more money.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner is working on the most lucrative contract in world football at Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr. He also boasts a number of sponsorship deals, allowing him to top the Forbes rich list that covers the highest earners in sport.

Ronaldo is not just a phenomenon on the field, though, as he also boasts a loyal legion of social media followers – including a record haul of 636m on Instagram. He is now making history after branching out onto YouTube.
His ‘UR Cristiano’ channel smashed records when passing 1m subscribers in less than 90 minutes, before than racing past 10m. Ronaldo is now above and beyond the 15m mark, which is presenting him with further earning potential.

Ronaldo has posted 12 videos so far and they have, at the time of writing, pulled in over 50m views. According to Thinkific, YouTube creators earn between $2 and $12 per 1,000 views. Advertisers pay a set rate to the platform for every 1,000 views, with YouTube keeping 45 per cent of ad revenue while creators get the other 55 per cent.

CR7 will already be pulling in big money, with even more to come as he looks to compete with the likes of YouTube sensation Mr Beast – who racks up over 400m views on his videos and can pull in up to $5m per month on advertising revenue alone.
