Adamawa police arrested a man for allegedly sexually assaulting his one-year-old step daughter.

The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested a 30-year-old man,  Idi Adamu, for allegedly sexually assaulting his one-year-old step daughter.

 Spokesperson of the command, Suleiman Nguroje, who disclosed this in a statement on Friday, May 3, 2024, said the arrest followed a complaint made to police by the mother of the victim who doubles as wife to the suspect. 

 “On the 1/5/2024. The Command arrested one Idi Adamu, a 30-year-old resident of Wuro Ardo in Mubi North Local Government, for sexually assaulting his one-year-old step daughter. More Details soon,” the statement read.
