Vinicius Jr breaks down in tears during press conference when asked about racism in powerful moment.
And as the Brazil forward prepares to play against the country he has lived in since 2018 at the Bernabeu, reporters asked him three questions about the racism he has suffered.
It saw Vinicius Jr break down in tears in an emotional press conference before replying: "I’m sorry.
I just want to play football, do everything for my club and my family and never see black people suffering."
He was then clapped by all those in attendance at the press conference.
This month alone has seen Vinicius Jr get targeted horrifically by opposition fans across Spain, including in Real Madrid's league match against Osasuna on March 16.
There were reports of chants of 'Die, Vinicius', while Real Madrid criticised the referee for not including the chants in his match report.
Vinicius Jr also re-posted a video on social media of Atletico Madrid fans jumping and chanting 'Vinicius chimpanzee' and the winger was targeted by Atletico and Barcelona fans before Champions League matches that did not even involve Real Madrid.
