Shock as Man Allegedly Eats ₦324K Worth of Food at Lagos Restaurant Without Paying.

A Lagos restaurant has reportedly been left with a staggering ₦324,000 bill after a man allegedly spent more than two months eating meals at the establishment without making payment.

According to a video circulating online, the man would reportedly visit the restaurant almost daily, order food worth about ₦6,000, eat and leave without paying.

The restaurant owner claimed that the suspect usually came when she was away, leaving her staff to attend to him. She said the alleged unpaid meals accumulated to approximately ₦324,000 over a period of more than two months.

The man was reportedly apprehended after his alleged activities came to light.

A security personnel who spoke in the viral video claimed that the suspect had recently spent six months in a correctional centre after allegedly stealing ₦250,000 from his former employer.

He further alleged that the man continued engaging in fraudulent activities after his release, including the use of fake bank transfer alerts to deceive people into believing that payments had been made.

The restaurant owner said: “He doesn’t do transfer. He’ll just come and eat food of ₦6K a day and go home. For more than 2 months…”
