VICTOR BONIFACE ON AC MILAN RADAR.

Victor Boniface has agreed to personal terms with AC Milan and is set to join the Italian club on a loan deal from Bayer Leverkusen, with an option to buy for €24 million after paying €5 million for the loan. This move will see him team up with fellow Nigerian international Samuel Chukwueze at San Siro.

Transfer Details

- *Loan Fee:* €5 million
- *Buyout Clause:* €24 million
- *Potential Contract Duration:* Until 2030

However, the transfer might hit a snag due to Boniface's injury history, including two cruciate ligament tears and recent groin injuries. AC Milan has ordered additional medical tests to assess his fitness, and the final decision on the transfer hangs in the balance pending these results.

Possible Debut:

If the transfer is finalized, Boniface might be ready to make his Milan debut against Lecce on August 29, although the club's first league game against Cremonese on Saturday might be too soon for him.

Legacy

With this move, Victor Boniface becomes the seventh Nigerian to wear AC Milan's famous red and black shirt, following in the footsteps of players like Taribo West, Taye Taiwo, and Samuel Chukwueze
